JENPAUH 2016: B.Sc. Nursing Admissions - 2nd September is Last Date to Pay Counseling Fee

DME West Bengal announced counseling schedule for B.Sc. Nursing admissions for academic year 2016-17. Twenty nursing colleges with 1500+ seats are available for admissions, and counseling will done be online. Candidates who merit listed in JENPAUH 2016 (Nursing) can register through www.wbmcc.nic.in website. Online registration has been started from 30th August and candidates can register till 5th September 2016.

Candidates have to pay the registration fee of Rs 500/- (Rs 250/- for SC/ST) to get start with online application where one have to generate e-challan and need to pay the fee at any branch of Allahabad bank.  2nd September, 2016 is the last date to pay counseling fee and last date for applying for counseling is 5th September.

 On successful registration upon payment of counseling fee, candidates can login using user-id and password for options entry. Candidates allowed submitting as many as choices and having to lock before 5th September. Allotments will be made purely based on JENPAUH 2016 Rank and choices filled-in by the applicants. First round of allotment will be announced on 7th September 2016.

Candidates who got allotment in 1st round have to attend certificate verification by person which will be conducted at College of Nursing auditorium and have to report the allotted institution on or before 13th September 2016. In 2nd round candidates who have given willingness will be considered for up gradation and option rearrangement is not allowed.  Board will be conducting 3 rounds of allotment and candidates are only allowed to rearrange the options after 2nd round of allotment.

Important things to note

  • Only West Bengal domicile candidates are allowed for admissions into government colleges.
  • Candidates have to meet all the eligibility criteria.
  • Candidates have to get through medical examination at reporting institute for fitness.
  • After every round candidates allotted with seats have to report the institution.
  • Only female candidates are eligible for nursing admissions.
