WBJEE 2017 Exam Date

Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE 2017) is organized by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University(AKTU) on behalf of Central Admission Board, Uttar Pradesh. The exam is conducted for admissions into various professional undergraduate and post graduate programs offered in universities, government colleges and professional institutions across Uttar Pradesh state. UPSEE is commonly known as UPTU entrance exam also.

UPSEE 2017 is conducted for total 11 papers on the dates 16th, 22nd and 23rd April, 2017 in various sessions.

UPSEE 2017 merit scores are only provisional, admissions will solely made depending on the basic eligibility criteria and rules laid down by Central Admission Board.

Eligibility Criteria for UPSEE 2017

Academic Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for admission into 1st Year B. Tech Programs

  • Candidate shall pass 10+2 from Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh or any equivalent exam from recognized boards across India.
  • 45% aggregate in mathematics, physics, chemistry /Bio-Technology /Biology / Technical Vocational subject (40% for SC/ST candidates) and shall pass without grace mark in each individual subject.

Eligibility for admission into B. Tech (Bio-Technology) programs

  • Candidate shall pass 10+2 from Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh or any equivalent exam from recognized boards across India.
  • Aggregate of 45% in Physics, Mathematics/Biology, Chemistry /Bio-Technology / Technical Vocational subject (40% for SC/ST candidates) and should pass without grace mark in each individual subject.

Eligibility for admission into 1st year B. Pham (Bachelor of Pharmacy) programs

  • Candidate shall pass 10+2 from Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh or any equivalent exam from recognized boards across India.
  • Aggregate of 45% in physics, Mathematics/Biology, chemistry /Bio-Technology / Technical Vocational subject (40% for SC/ST candidates) and should pass without grace mark in each individual subject.

 

Eligibility for admission into 1st year BHMCT/BFAD/BFA programs

  • Candidate shall pass 10+2 from Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh or any equivalent exam from recognized boards across India.
  • Aggregate of 45% in all subjects (40% for SC/ST candidates) and should pass without grace mark in each individual subject.

Eligibility for admission into 1st year B. Arch programs

  • Candidate shall pass 10+2 from Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh or any equivalent exam from recognized boards across India.
  • Aggregate of 50% in mathematics, physics, Chemistry/ Computer Science/Biology/ Engineering Drawing /Technical Vocational subject and should pass without grace mark in each individual subject.

                OR

  • Candidate shall pass a 3 year diploma in Architecture from any recognized board with an aggregate of 50% and should pass without grace mark in each individual subject.

Eligibility for admission into 1st year MBA/MCA/ in AKTU

  • Candidate shall pass 3yr bachelor degree from any recognized university or its equivalent exam with a minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate.
  • Candidate seeking admission into MCA course should study Mathematics in 10+2 or graduation level and should pass with required percentage.

  • Candidate shall pass 3 year BCA or B.Sc. (IT/Computer Science) from any recognized university with an aggregate of 50% (45% for SC/ST).
  • Candidate shall study mathematics as major subject in 10+2 or in graduation

Exam Pattern and Scoring:

UPSEE 2017 comprises 11 papers and all the papers are objective mode with multiple choice questions except part B of paper 4. Every correct answer will award 4 marks and no negative marking for incorrect answer. Paper 1 to paper 4 is OMR based and rest of the papers are computer based tests. Candidate has to choose the papers required to qualify for admission into the desired discipline.

UPSEE 2017 Admit Card Download

Admit Card for UPSEE 2017 is the hall ticket with which a candidate is permitted in to the examination hall. All registered applicants can download the admit card from the official website by giving required details like application number and password. No candidate will be permitted to take the exam without carrying admit card to the allotted test centre.

UPSEE 2017 admit card will be made available for download from 7th April 2017 till the exam is commenced. The candidates shall download the admit card from UPSEE 2017 candidate portal and obtain a print out of the same. The print out of the admit card shall be carried to the test centre along with valid photo id on the date of exam.
