WBJEEM Medical and Dental Counseling 2016 Option Entry Window Available From Today

WBJEEB is conducting online counseling for state quota seats in medical and dental colleges for academic year 2016-17. Candidates who qualified in WBJEEM 2016 and paid the counseling fee are only allowed to register for e-counseling and options entry. Only during the first round candidates have to register and no further registrations will be allowed / required in further rounds. A total of 17 medical and 5 dental colleges are participating in the e-counseling process and 2215 seats are available in state quota.

Board is conducting 3 rounds of seat allotment and candidates who will be allotted with a seat have to report at the allotted institution within stipulated time. Candidates have to select the options in order of preference and have to lock before the closure.  Candidates are only allowed to rearrange the option before the third round only. Candidates who got the seat allotment in first and second round can opt for up-gradation and his/her earlier seat, the seat allotted in earlier rounds will be retained if no allotment is done in the subsequent rounds.

Candidates have to give fresh choices to participate in the third round as earlier choices will be nullified automatically and who failed to do so will not be considered for the subsequent round of allotment.
