MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2017 Exam Dates Announced
Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra has announced the MAH MBA/MMS CET 2017 entrance exam dates and exam will be held on 4th and 5th of March 2017. This time exam date is scheduled a week earlier compare to the last year. Application process will start in the month of February 2017. DTE will conduct the MAH-MBA/MMS-CET exam once in academic year to admit the eligible candidates into post graduate management programmes offered at professional colleges across Maharashtra state.
Candidates who possess a bachelor degree with an aggregate of 50% marks are eligible to appear for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2017 entrance exam and 5% marks are relaxed for SC/ST category candidates. Candidates who are into final year of qualifying exam are also eligible to appear the entrance exam and admissions are subjected to DTE rules. Eighty five percent available seats in the professional colleges will be filled through MAH-MBA/MMS-CET and 15% seats are reserved for all India quota. All India quota seats will be filled based on merit in CMAT 2017/CAT 2016/XAT 2017 or ATMA 2017.
Aspirants have to apply online for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2017. Candidates have to pay a sum of Rs 1000/- (Rs 800/- for reserved classes) against application fee and fee payment can be done only through online modes.
MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2017 is of objective type and conducted online on a computer. Test paper consists of 200 questions to be answered in duration of 2 and half hours. Each question will have 5 options with single correct answer and every correct answer will fetch 1 mark. No negative marking is there.
Results for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2017 will be announced in the last week of March and admission notice will be published in the first week of May 2017. Admissions are purely based on CET merit and admissions will be done through CAP conducted by DTE, Maharashtra. A separate notification will be published for admissions on DTE website.
