IGDTUW invites Applications For Admission to M.Tech., M.C.A. and Research Programs
Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women a premier institution in Delhi which offers various engineering programs started admission process for Post Graduate programs such as M.Tech. , M.C.A. , and Doctoral programs for academic year 2016-17. All the admissions are made on merit basis only. No separate entrance exam will be conducted for M.Tech. and M.C.A. Candidates seeking admissions into M.Tech programs should have a valid GATE score and NIMCET score for M.C.A. program. Admissions for Ph.D. programs will be based on written test or by personal interview conducted by the University.
Online Application Process
Aspiring candidates have to apply online through IGDTUW admission website and it is a 3 step process, initially candidates have to fill the application form providing all the necessary details to get the application number which will be helpful to complete the remaining steps. For further logins candidate can use the application number and chosen password. In step 2 candidates have to upload the scanned images of recent photograph, signature and other documents. In step 3 candidates have to pay the required application fee through online by Netbanking/ Credit card/ debit card only. Any corrections related to application are allowed only till the payment is done.
Eligibility for M.C.A.
- Candidate shall pass with an aggregate of 60% in B.Sc./B.Sc. Hons/B.C.A./B.I.T in full time of minimum 3 years or B.E./ B.Tech. from any recognized university.
- Candidates who appeared /appearing qualifying exam in 2016 and whose results are awaited are also can apply.
- A valid NIMCET Rank.
Eligibility for M.Tech.
- Candidates shall pass with an aggregate of 60% in relevant B.E/B.Tech. descipline or relevant discipline from AMIE/AMIETE or from MCA/M.Sc. (computer Science/IT)/M.Sc. Maths/Stats.
- Candidates who appeared /appearing qualifying exam in 2016 and whose results are awaited are also can apply.
- A valid GATE score.
Eligibility for Ph.D.
- Candidates shall pass Post Graduation in relevant Engineering/Computer application/Sciences with an aggregate of 60% marks.
- Candidates who appeared /appearing qualifying exam in 2016 and whose results are awaited are also can apply.
- Admission shall be made on the basis of a written Screening Test (Research Aptitude Test, RAT) or an interview or both as decided by the Admission Committee of the university.
- RAT will be waived off to the candidates who have valid GATE score or who qualified in CSIR-JRF/NET.
