IIT Hyderabad 3 Year M.Tech Admissions (January 2017): Apply Before 30th November
Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad has published notification for admissions into 3 Year M.Tech programmes to start in January 2017. The institute offers M.Tech(RA) and Sponsored M.Tech. programmes in 3 year mode, and intake will happen twice a year i.e, in July and January sessions. IIT Hyderabad has started applications from 11th November, 2016 and last date for applying is 30th November, 2016.
Applications are started for the following disciplines with various specializations
- Chemical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Computer Science and Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering
Eligibility
Eligibility conditions required for Sponsored M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering
Candidates with Bachelor degree in Engineering or Technology from recognized institute/ university are eligible for admissions, and admissions are open to candidates working in national research laboratories or private/public sector companies with minimum 2 years of experience.
Eligibility conditions required for 3 Year M.Tech. in Civil Engineering
Candidates with Bachelor degree in Engineering or Technology in Civil Engineering from recognized institute/ university are eligible for admissions.
Eligibility conditions required for 3 Year M.Tech.(RA) in Computer Science and Engineering
A 4-year B.Tech./B.E. degree in any engineering discipline or an MSc/MS/MCA degree in CS/IT/Maths from recognized institute/ university. Candidates having professional qualifications recognized by AICTE, like AMIE, are also eligible to apply.
Eligibility conditions required for 3 Year M.Tech.(RA) in Mechanical And Aerospace Engineering
Candidates with a BTech/BE in Mechanical engineering or Aeronautical/Aerospace engineering ( Fluids & Energy Systems/ Mechanics & Design) or Automobile engineering (Fluids & Energy Systems/ Mechanics & Design) or Manufacturing engineering (Integrated Design & Manufacturing) or Production engineering (Integrated Design & Manufacturing) from recognized institute/ university are eligible.
Selection Process
All the candidates will have to appear in written test conducted by respective departments and shortlisted candidates after written test will have to attend for technical interview. Final selection will be purely based on the performance in the interview. Candidates with valid GATE scores will be given priority and also get funding from IIT Hyderabad.
Application Procedure
Candidates have to apply online on IIT Hyderabad website, application fee can be paid online through SBI-Collect, and application fee is Rs. 300/-( Rs.150/- for SC/ST/PwD/Female). Last date for submission of online application for 3 year M.Tech. programmes is 30th November, 2016.
