CMAT 2017 Instructions for Application Filling and Payment Modes

AICTE has opened the online application window for CMAT 2017 and aspirants can now start through registration. Registration window will be available for another 60 days and candidates can register for CMAT 2017 till 10th December 2016, which is going to be held on 28th January 2017.

Application process involves 3 steps and candidates have to self register to initiate the application process. Candidates have to sign the declaration to start the self registration.  A new user registration window will be opened after signing the declaration, where candidates have to provide name, father name, DOB, category, email id, mobile number and 3 test city preferences to complete the pre registration. Candidates are advised to check all the details for correctness before submission of new user registration form as no changes are allowed after submission.

After successful pre-registration, system will navigate to fee payment process where candidates have to pay the CMAT 2017 application fee through online or by cash. Candidates who selected fee payment through online have to pay the requisite fee by credit/debit/net banking.  On successful payment candidates will receive a confirmation email about CMAT 2017 fee payment. Online fee payment will be accepted only till 10th December 2016.

Candidates, who opt “CASH” option for fee payment, have to remit the fee in any branch of State Bank of India. To remit cash, a system generated challan will be available for download and candidates have to take 3 printouts of challan, and have to remit the fee at any SBI branch.  Candidates have to wait for 24 hours to remit fee payment through challan, after generation, as it will be accepted only on next day after generation.  One copy of the challan will be kept with the bank and remaining 2 copies will be returned to the candidates, on which candidates should ensure that journal number written on the challans should be clearly visible. After 48 hours of cash payment an email and SMS containing payment confirmation will be sent to the candidates.

Note: Test fee for CMAT 2017 is Rs 1400/- (Rs 700/- for SC/ST/PWD)

Upon fee payment for CMAT 2017 candidates can proceed to the 3rd and final section to complete the application process. Candidates have to fill the educational details, experience details and have to upload the soft copy of photograph and scanned signature to complete the application. Candidates can verify and correct the entered details in the application using view/modify button. Once satisfied with data entered, applicants have to sign the declaration and proceed for final submission of application. Submission of final application will be accepted till 13th of the December 2016 from those paid the fee in the form of cash.

Candidates whose applications have been successfully submitted will receive the admit cards via email and also made available for download from 13th January 2017.

Important things to know

Size of the photograph should be 140 x 160 (less than 60kb).

Size of the signature should be 60 x 90 (less than 30kb).
