AICTE CMAT 2017: Last date for registration is 25th December

The last date for AICTE CMAT 2017 registration is 25th December, 2016 and just four days are left to apply for the test. Earlier registrations were scheduled to close on 10th December, but later the dead line was extended till 25th December by AICTE.

The exam CMAT 2017 is an online aptitude test conducted by AICTE all over India to facilitate institutes for admitting graduate students into management programs. Exam is to be conducted on 28th January, 2017 and registrations to the exam were started in the month of October.

Coming to the educational qualification required to appear for CMAT 2017 is a bachelor degree awarded from any recognized university after studying for minimum of 3 years after 10+2 exam. Candidates who are in the final year of qualification required and appearing final exams in 2017 can also apply for CMAT 2017 on provisional basis. Candidate shall be citizen of India to register.

Application process involves 3 steps i.e., Registration, Payment of application fee and Submission of final application. Application fee is Rs.1400/- + Bank charges for general candidates and Rs.700/- + Bank charges for Female /SC/ST/PWD category candidates. Application fee can be paid in online mode or by cash payment in SBI using challan.

CMAT 2017 tests the ability of candidate in various aspects like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness. Exam is conducted for total of 400 marks covering 25 questions (4 marks each) from each section. Exam is held in multiple sessions in single day and duration of test is 3 hours for each candidate.
