University of Hyderabad Invites Applications for Ph.D. Admissions October 2016
University of Hyderabad Ph.D. Admissions October 2016 Session – The university has invited applications from ambitious and eligible candidates for Ph.D. programs in various subjects. Applicants must be the awardees of one of the fellowships from UGC/ CSIR/ ICMR/ ICAR/ DBT/ JRF/ NBHM / RGNF/ MANF/ DST INSPIRE.
Applications must be done online through university portal filling personal and academic details, and have to upload soft copies of photograph, signature and fellowship award letter. Upon successful submission of application, an application number will be generated which has to be saved for future logins.
Application fee is Rs.350/- for general candidates, Rs.250/- for OBCs and Rs.150/- in the case of SC/ST/PwD(PH) candidates. Payment of application fee can be done online or through bank challan. To pay fee through bank challan, after filling of online application a system generated challan containing application number and other candidate’s details can be printed out, using which candidate can pay application fee at any branch of SBI.
The last date is 31st October, 2016 for submitting online applications for October session of 2016-17 Ph.D. Admissions. Candidates need not submit or forward any hard copy of application to the University of Hyderabad.
During admission process all candidates will be called for a personal interview, and admissions to Ph.D. programs will be done based on the performance in interview and considering the weightage for their JRF qualification. Candidates must note that no applicant will be called for personal interview, if the fellowship award letter is not uploaded properly during application process.
