NCHM JEE 2017 exam date announced

The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) will be conducting NCHM JEE 2017 on 29th April, 2017. NCHMCT has announced exam date and other important events in a notification released on 12th December, 2016.

NCHM JEE is conducted by NCHMCT every year to select meritorious candidates for admissions to B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration course.

NCHM JEE 2017 online applications are accepted from 12th December, 2016 at https://applyadmission.net/nchmjee2017/, and candidates applying online shall have to pay the application fee through available online gateways. Last date for applying online is 14th April, 2017.

Offline application forms for NCHM JEE 2017 along with information brochure will be available for sale from 19th December, 2016. Candidates can obtain offline application forms from any of the NCHMCT affiliated colleges or NCHMCT office, Noida. Sale of applications will be available only till 14th February, 2017.

About the course

B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration is 3 year course offered by NCHMCT to thrive the skills, knowledge and attitude of students towards handling responsibilities in Hospitality Management. There are about 55 colleges including 21 government institutes, 19 state institutes, 13 private institutes and one public sector under taking institute select candidates through NCHM JEE 2017 for admissions to B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration.

Eligibility to take NCHM JEE 2017

Educational Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent exam from any recognized board with English as one of the core/functional/elective subject.

Candidate willing to take NCHM JEE 2017 shall be domicile of India. Upper age limit to apply for NCHM JEE 2017 is 22 years for general/OBC candidates and 25 years for SC/ST candidates. Those appearing for final year of qualifying exam in 2017 are also eligible to apply on provisional basis.

Exam pattern and duration

NCHM JEE 2017 is conducted for duration of 3 hours and test paper will be available in English and Hindi. Exam is conducted for a total of 200 marks and test paper will consist of MCQ type questions from 5 sections as tabled below.
