MNNIT MBA admissions 2017 Institute has started accepting applications

Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT), Allahabad has announced the MBA admission schedule for session 2017-18. Applications are accepted from 15th December 2017 and last date to apply is up to 31st January 2017.

Aspirants have to apply online through “http://academics.mnnit.ac.in/fresh_mba”and applications are accepted in online mode only.  Candidates who attended CAT 2016 are only eligible to apply for MBA admissions as CAT 2016 scores are used for short listing the candidates for GD & PI.

Eligibility

  • Candidates shall pass bachelor degree of minimum 3 years duration with at least 60% marks or 6.5 CPI (55% or 6 CPI for SC/ST/PwD).
  • Candidates who are into final year of qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.
  • Candidates must have valid CAT 2016 score.

Application procedure

There is a 2 step process for applying online for MBA 2017 admissions in MNNIT and only online applications are available.  Candidates have to register them self once and can fill the application in multiple sessions.

Step-1

In step 1 candidate has to provide basic details to register and on successful registration candidates can fill the application. Here are the details which have to be provided for registration.

  • CAT 2016 Roll number
  • Candidate name
  • Date of birth
  • Password (Which will be used for further login)

Cat 2016 roll number and password set during registration can be used for future logins.

Step – 2

In step 2 candidates have to fill the personal and educational data and have to upload the photograph & signature to complete the application form. Here is the type of information needed to fill in the application form mentioned below.

Fee payment and application submission

Application fee for MNNIT 2017 MBA admissions is Rs.1200/- for regular candidates and Rs.600/- for SC/ST candidates. Candidates can pay the application fee either     online or by chalan. After fee payment candidates have to send the duly signed printed application form to “The Admission Cell, Office of the Dean (Academic), MNNIT Allahabad, Allahabad – 211004” on or before 7th February 2017 before 5:30PM.

Selection procedure

Applicants will be shortlisted upon their CAT 2016 scores and will be called for group discussion and personal interview. GD & Pi will be conducted on 5th March 2017 at institute premises and final merit list will be declared on 16th March 2017.

Admissions

Candidates selected for admissions have to pay the semester fee on or before 30th March 2017 and institute will allow them to pay till 17th April with late fee, MBA classes will commence from 17th July 2017.
