Gujarat National Law University GNLU MBA Admissions 2017

Gujarat National Law University (GNLU), Gandhinagar one of the premier law universities in India has announced the admission schedule for MBA in Financial Management and Business Laws. This programme is 2 year full time course and university is accepting applications from eligible candidates. Las t date for applying to MBA in 2017 academic year is 31^st March 2017.

Qualification required

Candidates shall possess a minimum 3 year bachelor degree after 10+2 from any recognized university with 55% (50% for SC/ST) aggregate marks. Candidates who are into final year of qualifying exam and whose course will finish before 30^th June 2017 are also eligible to apply to the course.

Selection procedure

GNLU will use CAT 2016 score to shortlist the candidates and candidates who attend the CAT 2016 are only eligible for admissions. Apart from CAT score selection procedure also involves Legal aptitude test, Group discussion followed by Personal interview.  Prior academic record and work experience will also play a vital role and it has 10% weightage in calculating final merit list for admissions.

Unlike other management institutes, University will conduct Legal aptitude test to access the basic knowledge in Indian legal system & Current legal affairs of India and it has 15% weightage while calculating final cutoffs.

Application process

Aspirants have to apply online through university website and soft copy of applications (along with scanned copy of NEFT/DD) will be accepted till 31^st March 2017. Candidates have to send the hard copy of application along with DD/NEFT receipt to the university office on or before 08^th April 2017. Candidates have to mention CAT 2016 registration number in the application form as CAT 2016 scores are mandatory. All the personal and educational particulars have to be furnished to complete the application. In the work experience column candidates have to mention the organization name ,  job description, designation along with joining date and last date (if  applicable). Important thing to observe is only full time work experience after graduation is considered.

Application fee for GNLU MBA 2017 admissions is Rs.2000/- for general candidates and Rs.1500/- for SC/ST categories. Candidates can pay the application fee by NEFT or in the form of DD.

Legal aptitude test, group discussion and personal interview will be held at university premises on 13^th June 2017 and final merit list will be published on 17^th June 2017. Candidates allotted with seat have to pay the semester fee latest by 27^th June and classes will commence from 1^st July 2017.

Course Fee particulars

University will charge a onetime admission fee and General Security Deposit (Library, Hostel, Mess etc) which is Rs 17000/- and fee for an academic year is Rs 150,000/-.
