JOSAA 2016 Mock Seat Allocation Published
JOSAA announced the mock seat allotment as per schedule and extended the last date for choice filling till 12:00PM of 29th June. Earlier JOSAA announced that choice filling for academic program will end on 28th June 2016. Candidates who have registered for centralized allotment process can go through the mock seat allotment results, utilize the cutoff ranks to refine the choice filling to get allotted with better academic program. Whoever hasn’t registered for the JOSAA 2016 can register and fill their choices till 12:00PM day after tomorrow.
JOSAA is responsible to allocate seats in IITS, NITS, GFTIS and IIITS across India. Candidates can fill the choices according to their eligibilities (JEE Main paper1, JEE Main paper2 and JEE Advanced) and need to work out choice filling cautiously. Choice filling will be locked at said latest time and last exercised choices will be considered as final.
Seat allotment will be done on 30th June and candidates who ever got provisional allotment will have to report the document verification center along with print out of allotment letter and challan of seat acceptance fee. Candidates who ever skip the document verification or who don’t remit seat acceptance fee will be barred from further allotment process. Candidates have to accept the seat and can opt either Freeze, Float and Slide options to get along with the process.
