JoSAA 2016 Fourth Round Seat Allotment Result Announced

JoSAA announced 4^th round seat allotment result and candidates can check their seat allotment status by logging in using JEE main roll number and password. Candidates who have been allotted with a seat have to accept the seat between 15^th July and 16^th July 2016 (10:00AM t0 5:00PM).

Candidates who have got first time seat allotment have to report to the relative reporting center and candidates who are upgraded from previous seat allotment from IITs/ISM to NITs/IIITS/GFTIs (or vice versa) have to report to the  new reporting center.

Candidates who wish to with draw from seat allotment process have to write a withdrawal request letter and have to appear to the reporting center for other formalities.

Only 2 Architecture seats in IIT Roorkee and 172 seats in NITs are vacant and available for further rounds. A detailed vacant seat list will be available on JoSAA website once the 4^th round seat acceptance window is closed. Fifth round of seat allotment will be announced on 17^th July 2016.

Admission schedule for IITs and ISM is announced and all the candidates who accepted the seats in IITs and ISM have to register/report to the respective institutions accordingly.

JoSAA will conduct a total of 6 rounds to fill the seats in IITs, NITs, IITs and GFTIs and withdrawal option is not available in the last round of seat allotment.
