XLRI Admissions: Test Date of XAT 2017 is 8th January

XLRI announced Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2017 test date i.e., on 8th January 2017 from 10:00AM to 1:30PM, and registration for test began from 17th August 2016. Applicants can apply online for XAT and 30th November will be the last date for applying for XAT without late fee. With late fee one can apply for entrance test till 11th December 2016.

Candidates applying for XAT 2017 have to initially register to get XAT id to complete the application process. Candidates have to upload soft copy of Photograph and signature and have to fill all the necessary details like address, detail of educational qualifications etc. A sum of 1600 will be charged against application fee and candidates who are applying for XLRI courses have to pay 300 for each course selected. Fee payment can be done trough either online or DD or cash and candidates who apply with late payment have to pay 2000 against application fee and 500 per each course.

XAT is conducted by XLRI on behalf of XAMI and institute admits candidates into 3 PGDM programs through this test. XAT 2017 is conventional pen and paper based exam conducted across India in 47 test cities along with 2 international test centers. Exam pattern is unique every year and exam paper is composed with questions from Quantitative Ability, English Language & Logical Reasoning, Decision Making, General Knowledge and Essay.

XLRI offering 3 management programs (PGDM) with Human Resource Management, Business Management and General Management as specializations and candidates seeking admission to these programs will have to attend XAT 2017. Candidates holding minimum 3 year under graduate degree from any recognized university are eligible to apply for the test and candidates whose results are expected before June 2017 are also eligible. Candidates with minimum 3 years of work experience are eligible to apply for General Management specialization.

XAT qualified candidates have to attend Group discussion and personal interview conducted by XLRI for final selection in to the programs. More than 100+ XAMI member institutes admit candidates into MBA & PGDM programs utilizing XAT scores.
