MICAT 2017 Application Window Open
Application window for MICAT 2017 to be conducted by MICA, Ahmedabad is open now, and candidates seeking admissions to PGDM-C courses offered by the institute can apply for the test now. MICA Admission Test previously known as Mudra Institute of Communications Admission Test is the gateway test for postgraduate management courses in communications offered at MICA, Ahmedabad.
MICAT is conducted twice an academic year as MICAT-1 and MICAT-2, this year MICAT-1 is scheduled to be conducted on 11th December, 2016 and MICAT-2 is to be held on 12th February, 2017. Application window for MICAT-1 is already opened and can apply till 25th November, 2016. Application for MICAT-2 will be accepted from 3rd January, 2017 and will continue till 31st January, 2017.
Candidates with any bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) can apply for MICAT 2017. Candidates to get through selection process will have to possess a valid score from any of the 3 exams CAT 2016, XAT 2017 and GMAT (2015 or later).
MICAT 2017 is computer based test conducted for 125 minutes which tests candidate in various areas like Psychometric (P), Verbal ability (VA), Quantitative ability (QA), General awareness (GA), Divergent-Convergent Reasoning (DCR) and Descriptive Test (DT).
To apply for MICAT 2017 candidates have to start with onetime registration through which one can obtain MICA user ID and password. Upon successful registration applicants can login using the user ID and password to fill the online application. After filling the application with all required information candidate will have to pay the application fee (in online mode only) of Rs.1965/- by means of credit card/debit card/net banking.
Admit Card for candidates applied for MICAT-1 will be made available for download from 2nd December, 2016 and for those applied for MICAT-2 will be released from 6th February, 2017. Admit cards will also be sent to the applicant’s email address.
