Kerala LLM 2016 exam date changed, application last date extended
CEE Kerala has announced the postponement of LLM 2016 exam date. The exam will be conducted on 12th February 2017. Five year LLB final year exams in MG University will be concluded by 6th February and this is the reason for postponement of exam from 5th February 2017. CEE conducts LLM 2016 entrance exam to derive the merit for admission into 2 year full time LLM courses offered at Kerala law colleges.
Besides the postponement of exam date, deadline for applications is also extended. The online applications for LLM 2016 entrance exam will be accepted till 5:00PM on 24th January 2017. The aspirants have to apply through LLM 2016 candidate portal. The printout of the application with necessary documents shall reach the “Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Buildings, 5th Floor, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 001” before 5:00PM on 25th January 2017. The candidates shall satisfy following eligibility criteria for admission in to LLM courses offered at law colleges across Kerala state.
- Applicants shall be Indian citizen of Kerala origin.
- Applicants shall pass LLB 3/5 year course from any recognized university or equivalent.
- Candidates appearing final year of qualifying exam are also eligible to apply for LLM 2016.
Application process for LLM 2016 entrance exam
The test seekers have to apply online by doing a onetime registration in candidate portal. The candidates have to upload the soft copy of photograph to start with form filling. After furnishing all necessary details the candidates have to pay the examination fee to complete the application form.
The application fee for LLM 2016 can be paid either online or through e-challan. The candidates who wish to pay by e-challan have to remit the requisite fee at designated SBT counters. The application fee for LLM 2016 entrance exam is Rs.800/- for general candidates and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST.
After fee payment all candidates have to take the printout of duly filled application. The applicants have to affix photograph and application shall be dully attested by a government gazzeted officer. The print out of the filled in application along with the necessary documents shall reach the CEE office within the stipulated time.
LLM 2016 admit cards availability
Successful applicants can download the admit card from candidates portal. CEE Kerala will make available the admit card of LLM 2016 from 28th January and candidates can download the card by providing application number and DOB.
Exam will be conducted on 12th February 2017 in morning and afternoon sessions. LLM 2016 test consists of 2 papers and paper 1 will be conducted in the morning session from 9:30AM to 11:00AM and Paper 2 of LLM 2016 will be held on the same day from 11:30AM to 1:00PM.
