WBJEEB JELET 2016: Apply before 16th June

Application process for WBJEEB JELET 2016 has started from 5th May, 2016 and last date for applying is 16th June, 2016. JELET is an exam conducted for admissions to lateral entry into 2nd year ( 3rd semester) of 4 years engineering/technology and pharmacy courses offered in the state of West Bengal.

JELET 2016 is to be held on 24th July, 2016 for duration of 2 hours from 12:00PM to 2:00PM. It is a pen and paper based exam (OMR type) with 100 questions each with 4 multiple options with single correct answer. Correct answer to be bubbled with pen, every correct answer will carry 1 mark and wrong answer will deduct ¼ a mark.

Eligibility criteria for engineering is the candidate should have passed 3 year diploma from AICTE approved institution with 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category) or B.Sc degree from any UGC approved college attaining 45% marks(40% in case of reserved categories) with Mathematics as compulsory subject. For Pharmacy courses candidates with 3 year diploma in Pharmacy with 45% marks (40% in case of reserved categories) from AICTE approved institution are eligible.

Application process is of 4 steps, in first step candidate has to register on the official website to obtain an application number and password for further interactions with the website.

In second step candidate has to login using application number and password and fill the online application with personal and academic information and choose test centres.

In third stem candidate has to upload scanned copies of photograph, signature, left thumb impression and admit card/mark sheet of 10th standard for age proof.

In fourth step payment of exam fee has to be done in online mode or by offline mode. In online mode payment can be done using credit card/debit card/net banking. If candidate choose to pay in offline mode an e-challan will be generated which can be used to pay at any Allahabad Bank branch.

A confirmation page will be generated upon updating payment successfully which has to be printed by the candidate.
