PUBDET 2016 Exam Rescheduled
PUBDET 2016 exam dates are rescheduled to 4th, 5th, 11th and 12th of July from the previous scheduled dates of 4th to 7th July 2016. Admit cards for the exam are already available on WBJEE website and candidates can download by candidate login. WBJEE conducts the common entrance exam PUBDET to admit candidates into various Under Graduate courses in Presidency University. Individual exam will be conducted for each subject with different duration and pattern.
Admissions to these courses will be based on the merit list prepared by the board and candidates are allowed to apply for a maximum of 2 subjects. PUBDET 2016 merit list will be prepared based on the aggregate marks in qualifying exam along with performance in the entrance test. Medium of instruction for all the courses will be in English except for vernacular (language courses) subjects.
PUBDET exam pattern is MCQ type and for few courses there will be a written test along with MCQ. Each of the questions will have 4 choices with single correct answer. 1 mark will be awarded for correct answer and ¼ a mark will be deducted for wrong choice. Syllabus for all the exams will be of 10+2 standard. For subject papers where a written test is conducted marks of MCQ paper will not be considered for merit list preparation.
