Karnataka CET 2016: Option Entry Window Opened

Karnataka Examination Authority has opened up window for option entry for the candidates eligible for admission through CET 2016 to Engineering, Architecture, Farm science, B-Pharma and Pharma-D courses. Allotment of seats will be done through Centralized Allotment Process based on the merit obtained in CET 2016 and options entered by the candidates.

Last date for option entry process is 22nd June, 2016 before 11:00AM, and candidates will not be allowed to modify options after this till the mock allotment. After mock allotment a candidate will once again be permitted to change priority of options or add new options with in specified time (to be declared later).

Option Entry Process is provided for candidates to choose priorities of colleges and courses for admission. To enter options one has to register with CET number, Application number, Secret key and password (as desired by candidate) for future logins. CET and Application numbers can be found on the hall ticket and secret key can be found on CET Verification Acknowledgement obtained after document verification.

Once registered a candidate can login and start entering options. Candidates are advised to workout as many options as possible as there is no limit for creating options in their order of priority, so that “No Allotment” condition would raise due to “choices exhausted”. Once the process of entering options is completed a candidate has to save the options and take a printout of the last saved options for acknowledgement. Printouts can be taken for short option report and detailed option report.
