IIT Bombay Announced UCEED 2017 Test & Admissions Schedule, Applications Starts From 17th October

UCEED 2017 dates are out and IIT Bombay which is administering institute has announced the complete examination and admission schedule for UCEED 2017. Online applications are available from 17th October and application online will be closed on 11th November 2016. Candidates can apply till 18th November 2016 with late fee.

UCEED 2017 is conducted at national level to admit the candidates in B.Des. program offered at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati and IIITDM Jabalpur. Candidates who passed 10+2 from any recognized board in any of the discipline (Sciences, Arts & Humanities and Commerce) are eligible to appear UCEED 2017 and candidates who are appearing final year of qualifying exam in 2017 are also eligible to apply.

Candidates have to register online to appear UCEED 2017, and application process involves onetime registration, filling application and fee payment. During filling the application candidates have to upload the soft copy of color photograph, scanned signature and qualifying exam certificate in JPEG format. Candidates have to pay a sum of Rs.2000/- (Rs.1000/- in case of SC/ST/PWD/female) against application fee using credit/debit card only. Successful applicants can download the admit cards from 26th December 2016 and UCEED 2017 exam is scheduled to be held on 22nd January 2017 at 19 test cities across India. The test is CBT type exam and will be held for duration of 3 hours in single session.

UCEED 2017 results will be announced on 20th February 2017 and candidates can download the score card online from 27th February 2017. Candidates have to score a minimum of 10% in the UCEED 2017 exam to get eligible for admissions and a common allotment process will be conducted to fill the seats in the 3 institutions. All the admissions are purely based on merit obtained in the exam and institute selected by candidates.

Application for common admission allotment will be accepted between 10th June to 25th June 2017 and a total 3 rounds of allotment will be done.
