West Bengal Post Graduate Homeopathy Admission Test - WBPGHAT 2016

West Bengal Post Graduate Homeopathy Admission Test (WBPGHAT 2016) is conducted by The West Bengal University of Health Sciences for admission to post graduate Homeopathy courses offered at colleges affiliated to the university. There are 6 specializations available in 4 Homeopathy colleges and all the seats are filled on the basis of merit obtained in the WBPGHAT 2016. Entrance exam for P.G. Homeopathy is conducted national wide and few seats are open for all India merit quota.

Eligibility

• Candidates shall pass BHMS from any recognized university with in India.
• Candidates shall complete one year internship before 30^th June, 2016 after passing BHMS.
• Candidates shall register with either state or central Homeopathy council.
• Candidates already pursuing P.G. are not eligible for admissions.

Exam Pattern

University conducts WBPGHAT in conventional paper and pen mode and candidates have to bubble the OMR sheets. Exam paper consists of 200 MCQ type questions which have to be answered in duration of 160 minutes. Each objective question will have 4 choices with single correct answer. Every correct answer will fetch 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. Candidates have to score a minimum of 30% (240 marks) in the entrance exam to get eligible for admissions.

Admissions

Admission to P.G. Homeopathy courses (M.D. Homeopathy) in West Bengal will be done based on the rank list of WBPGHAT 2016 exam and filled-in the options by applicants based on their own preferences, University will conduct online counseling to fill the seats.  Candidates selected for admission in the online counseling have to report the respective college within the time mentioned.   Certificate verification will be done at institute level and candidates have to carry all documents in original during admission.

WBPGHAT 2016 Application Process

WBPGHAT 2016 entrance exam schedule is announced by the WBUHS and exam is scheduled on 18^th September 2016. University is accepting online applications only from 22^nd August 2016 and last date for applying online is 5^th September 2016. Candidates have to register on http://www.wbuhsexams.in website providing personal and education details. Candidates have to remit a sum of Rs 3000/- against application fee in the form of DD and have to update the payment details in the online application.  Candidates have to affix the photograph, scanned signature on the print copy of application and have to send the application along with DD and copy of photo id to the university before 6^th September 2016.

Admit Cards

Admit cards for WBPGHAT 2016 will be available on website from 16^th September 2016 and candidates can download to print the admit cards. Candidates have to carry the admit cards and original photo id to the test center, failing that candidates are not allowed to take the exam. Admit cards have to be secured till the admission process completes as it is required while reporting to the institution.
