KCET 2017 exam schedule announced

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced the KCET 2017 exam schedule. Exam will be conducted on 2nd and 3rd May 2017. KCET 2017 will have Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology papers and will be conducted for 240 marks. Biology and Mathematics papers will be conducted on 2nd May, where as Physics and Chemistry papers will be conducted on 3rd May 2017. KCET exam will be a pen and paper model and objective type test.

From 2017 academic year onwards admissions to under graduate medical and dental courses offered at Karnataka professional colleges will be done based on scores obtained in NEET 2017, conducted by CBSE. Upon announcement of NEET 2017 scores KEA will prepare the merit lists and admissions will be done with the same to government quota seats in MBBS and BDS.

Candidates willing to join first year B.Arch. programme have to attend the NATA 2017 conducted by COA and admissions are purely based on NATA scores.

Kannada Language test for 2017 admissions under Horanadu & Gadinadu Kannadiga clauses will be held on 4th May 2017 at Bangalore test center only.

KEA conducts Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET)  to ascertain the merit of the candidates for admissions into first year Engineering, Technology, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy & Yoga, Architecture, Farm Science courses i.e, B.Sc. (Agriculture), B.Sc. (Sericulture), B.Sc (Horticulture), B.Sc (Forestry), B.Sc. Agri Bio Tech, BHSc.(Home Science), B.Tech (Agri.Engg), B.Tech (Food Technology), B.Tech (Dairy Tech), B.FSc (Fisheries), B.Tech (Food Science&Tech)., B.Sc. (Agri. Marketing & Co-Op), B.Pharma and Pharma-D. courses.

KCET 2017 detailed notification will be released soon and application process will begin from 2nd week of January 2017 where candidates have to apply through online only.
